Maasai Mara Game Reserve

MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Duration: 3 days

Location: Located in south-western Kenya, it’s the northern-most section of the Mara-Serengeti ecosystem.

​

Activities: Game viewing, camping, night game drives, visits to Masai cultural villages, ballooning, bush meals.

​

What to see: Big 5, cheetah, serval, hyena, bat-eared foxes, black-backed and side-striped jackals, hippo, crocodile, baboons, warthog, topi, eland, Thompson’s gazelle, Grant’s gazelle, impala, waterbuck, oribi, reed-buck, zebra....

​

Best time to visit: Peak season is between July and October, during the migration. Early November and February can also offer excellent game viewing.

Location: Located in the East Coast of Kenya. Second largest city in Kenya after Nairobi.

What to see: Historical Sites, Crocodiles, Beaches, Aqua Marine Life, Turtles…

Ol Pajeta Conservancy

OL PAJETA CONSERVANCY

Duration: 2 days

​

Location: Situated between the foothills of Mount Kenya and Aberdares is Kenya’s best kept conservation havens.

​

Activities: Game Drive, and learn on the endangered species, cultural tours.

​

What to see: Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Elephant, Rhinos, Cheetahs, chimpanzees among others.

​

Best time to visit: All year round.

​

Recommended length of stay: 2 days

​

NOTE: This is actually the only place in Kenya to see chimpanzees and you can have a chance to adopt one of them! You could also make a donation to help more conservation activities for these endangered species (Black and White Rhinos).

Lewa Wildlife Conservancy

LEWA WILDLIFE CONSERVANCY

Duration: 2 days

​

Location: Lewa Wildlife Conservation is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Northern Kenya.

​

Activities: Game Drives, Cultural Tours, Guided Walking Safaris, visit the different development projects Lewa runs.

​

What to see: Among other animals, Maasai morans also graze their cattle as the elephants, antelopes and zebras graze alongside a resting lion!

​

Lake Nakuru National Park

LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

Location: Near Lake Nakuru and Nakuru Town.

Samburu National Reserve

SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE

Location: Situated alongside the Ewaso Nyiro River on the west side of Mount Kenya.

What to see: Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk and the beisa oryx, elephants, lions, leopard, cheetah, wild dogs and over 450 species of birds.
